Reiki - Life Force Energy Guided by the Universal Source Reiki is an ancient form of hands-on healing, powerful in its strength and its simplicity. Reiki relaxes, relieves stress and heals on every level - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The life force energy, channeled by the practitioner, heals both receiver and giver, leaving both relaxed, calm, and with a sense of well-being and peace. Anyone can make Reiki a part of their lives. We all channel energy to some degree.  With Reiki we become more open to that energy. The attunement process, which differentiates Reiki from all other forms of hands-on healing, opens the chakras, clearing blockages and allowing us to be clear channels for Rei Ki. Reiki is taught in three degrees.  Each level of Reiki enhances and promotes expanded consciousness and spiritual awareness and strength.

All of our Reiki classes are taught by Rhianna. In the fall of 1997, I received my Reiki Master attunement from Ashling Kelly, a student of Reiki Master Diane Stein, author of "Essential Reiki".  My Reiki training also includes Karuna Reiki and attunements by Usui Reiki Masters.  Essential Reiki is at the core of my Reiki teaching, which today include many years of personal experience, and both Essential and Traditional Reiki practices. In January of 2003, Northern Dutchess Hospital allowed me into the operating room with a dear friend to perform Reiki while she had her surgery.  Positioned at her head with the anesthesiologist, I was able to charge the room, the utensils, the staff and her body for the entire length of the surgery.  This was a powerful experience for everyone. The nurses and doctor reported feeling great when the surgery was over and my friend had a remarkable recovery and experienced very little pain.  An article of our experience was published in The Reiki Times, Vol. 8 Issue 1.  Click here to read the article. Reiki I Class is a one day class being offered Sunday, May 23 1:00 ~ 5:00 We discuss in depth what Reiki is and what it can do for you, your family, friends, animals and for the Earth.  We discuss the Reiki Principles as a foundation for healthy living. You will learn the basic hand positions for healing yourself and others, applying this energy to the entire physical-emotional-spiritual dimensions. You will receive the Reiki I attunement, and give and receive a full treatment. Class cost is a sliding scale from $125 ~ $100.  Class is limited to 6 participants.  Pre-registration is required.  Class manual included.  Please bring bottled water and a journal if you'd like.

Reiki II Class is a one day class being offered Sunday, July 18 10:00 ~ 5:00 You will receive the Reiki II attunement, which is another level of energy-power activation.  You will learn how to work with three Sacred Reiki symbols. These symbols enable you to send distance reiki, do clearing and cleansing, increase your energy work to heal more affectively and more deeply on the emotional level and so much more. We will discuss the chakra system and use pendulums to "read" each others chakras.  We'll then apply the Reiki symbols to clear and charge any blocks in our chakra system, creating balance and optimum health. We'll journey to meet your Reiki guides and work as a group, using the symbols, for Earth Healing. Class cost is $150 Class is limited to 6 participants.  Pre-registration is required. Class manual included.  Please bring bottled water, a journal, and a light lunch.  If you already work with a pendulum please bring it with you - otherwise we have lots of them to work with here.

Reiki III Master Practitioner Class is a one day class being offered Sunday, September 19 at the Annex 11:00 ~ 4:00 You will receive the Level III attunement which heightens your energy power far beyond Reiki l and ll.  You will learn to work with another Sacred Reiki symbol, increasing your healing capacities on all levels. You will also be introduced to four other Reiki symbols and learn how to incorporate them into your healing practice. We will delve deeply into our Reiki experiences, it's life changing effects and the Reiki Way of Life. You will learn advanced healing techniques for balancing and activating energy, for healing and wholeness, for personal growth and transformation.  Each participant will have the opportunity to practice their new skills as reiki sessions will be exchanged. Six months to a year between Reiki II and Reiki III is required. Class cost is $225. Class is limited to 4 participants. Pre-registration is required. Class manual included. Please bring bottled water, a journal, and a light lunch.

Reiki III Master Teacher Class is a one day class Sunday, October 17 at the Annex 10:00 ~ 5:00 You must have already completed the Master Practitioner Level Reiki class.  You will receive the Teacher Level activation and another Reiki symbol which will enable you to pass on the Reiki attunement.  We'll discuss teaching in great detail, how to care for yourself and your students.  I'll share my training manuals for all levels on a disc so that you may easily personalize and update them. We'll share rituals and meditations to enhance your teaching.  You will learn to pass the attunements and practice on one another. Class cost is $350. Class is limited to 4 participants. Pre-registration is required. CD copy of all manuals is included. Please bring bottled water, a journal, and a light lunch.
