Previous Years2007 |  2006 |  2005 |  2004 |  2003 |  2002 |   2007 Presenter's list Performing Live on Saturday Night will be Skinny White Chick is a fanciful union of talents, bringing together captivating music, magic, fire, and humor to honor the universe and all the passions it contains. At the core of the band is S. J. Tucker, a petite force of nature named Queen of the Bards by her colleagues, and the maddest hatter on the Bardic path by her audience. The band in its various forms is known to include saxophone, flute, cello, and a wealth of drums, as well as S. J.'s crystal-clear vocals and trickling guitar. "Though rooted in streetwise sensibility, Tucker’s lyrics evoke magic. They swell up from the underworld where so many artists venture but few truly understand. So young, and yet so bloody old! She can span Maiden, Mother and Crone in a single song, then spin them all together by the next." Website: http://www.skinnywhitechick.com |
